Who's Your Favorite Writer?

Joss Whedon is a favorite writer of mine. Buffy the Vampire Slayer knocks it out of the park with clever writing, nuanced characters and a stunning story arc. Ditto for Firefly. He's also smart and caring, and sometimes he puts words in my mouth...like these.
